BMVC 2026 IJCV recommendation? [D]

Does anyone know how the BMVC to IJCV special issue recommendation works? Is it mainly based on the review scores, or is it a separate decision by the ACs/program chairs (e.g. based on oral/highlight selection, reviewer comments, etc.)? Also, is there any way to know at this point whether a paper has been recommended for the IJCV track, or do authors only find out later through a separate email?
