Companies collect large volumes of raw data everyday ranging from customer information, sales records to log records. This data is organized and cleaned by Excel into tables, charts and reports making it easier to derive insights and identify trends that help in decision making. Financial reporting: Excel is also widely used for financial reporting and budgeting. Businesses use it to record income and expenses, calculate profit margins and create financial predictions. By analyzing financial data, organizations are able to monitor their performance over time and plan better for future growth.
