Hello I am curious about the election criteria for ICML financial aid. If anyone have been granted financial aid would you mind sharing your profile. Somehow being a black woman ( 2 underrepresented groups) with one paper accepted at the main conference and two papers accepted at different workshops is not enough to get financial aid. Are they solely for oral papers perhaps ? Last year a colleague (white man) with one spotlight paper did not get it neither. Maybe you need to belong to all minority groups ( half black half Latina Native American woman lgbtq+ and so on so far and what have you) with at least 3 oral papers 💀💀 to get any sort of help? I'm running into an issue with an ablation study for a paper I'm preparing. I trained a model. The model achieved my best result, and I saved the trained checkpoint ( .pth file). Now my supervisor wants me to perform an ablation study by removing components and how it impacts the accuracy. My concern is that if I retrain from scratch, the accuracies will not exactly match the original run due to randomness, different seeds, etc. is there any way i can do the ablation study without retraining? Hackers are convincing Meta’s AI support chatbot to let them take over other peoples’ accounts: A video posted on X showed the step-by-step process to hack someone’s Instagram account. The hacker allegedly used a VPN to spoof the targets’ presumed location to avoid triggering Instagram’s automated account protections. Then, the hacker opened a chat with Meta AI Support Assistant and asked the bot to add a new email address to the target’s account. Here is the situation of the website. If someone in Canada enters www.example.com they are redirected to www.example.com/ca and ALL the mention of "USA" is hidden and replaced with "Canada"! For example in Canada, instead of people seeing "Home Improvement in the USA and Canada", people in Canada just see "Home improvement in Canada", and vice versa; someone in USA and everywhere other than Canada on the globe does NOT see Canada on the website pages . My question is: Shouldn't a website have unified info and list BOTH USA and Canada, because with current situation someone accessing the homepage in Canada would NOT know that the company can also do Home improvement in the USA and vice versa .
